Born in Queens NY to immigrant parents, Carolina grew up singing, acting, and dancing which led her to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre at AMDA. After attending the conservatory in NYC, she moved to LA to complete her bachelor's degree, where she fell in love with acting for the camera. Upon graduating she felt diminished by the the roles that were up for her to audition for and her push to begin creating her own stories began. In 2018, she co-founded Femme Regard Productions with Tessa Markle, aiming to challenge cinematic stereotypes and provide more opportunities for women both in front of and behind the camera. She is passionate about telling stories that showcase the female perspective in sensuality and expression while incorporating her Polish/Colombian cultural backgrounds.
She has built an engaged audience with Femme Regard Podcast, a podcast for educating the "underdeveloped" independent filmmaker in all areas of film production while highlighting women's voices in the industry. Furthermore, she has filmed several award-winning shorts and is in post-production for her feature debut "SYNC" as a writer, producer, actor, and director. Her feature has been awarded with the WIF and Sundance Institute gender balanced and equity in production ReFrame Stamp award, fulfilling her company’s mission.
Most recently, she worked as an Account Manager of Feature Films for EIKON Group, a leading provider of post-production services for the entertainment industry. She oversaw the mastering and localization of films for Warner Bros. and Disney, using various distribution technologies and project management software. She is now taking on creative direction for brands, writing new scripts, and getting prepped to take her feature on the film festival circuit!
