As part of the social team at CBR, one of the world's largest pop culture news outlets, I create and manage daily social content that keeps fans engaged with the latest news in comics, TV, film, anime, and gaming.
I lead social media strategy and execution for CBR’s entertainment verticals, with a focus on real-time content creation, copywriting, and audience growth. I help drive millions of impressions monthly by aligning content with trending news, platform best practices, and CBR’s editorial voice.

Write daily social copy across platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads) for high-performing content
Design caption strategies and headlines that optimize clicks and engagement
Repurpose editorial articles, breaking news, and exclusive interviews into visually engaging social formats
Collaborate with editorial and design teams to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery
Track performance metrics and test content approaches for maximum reach and relevance
Contribute creative ideas for Reels, memes, and other trend-based content in the entertainment space
SOCIAL MEDIA REBRAND STRATEGY
Upon joining CBR, I led a full rebrand of the platform’s visual and content strategy across Instagram and Facebook. My goal was to evolve CBR’s identity from a comic-centric feed to a broader pop culture media brand—without losing its editorial roots.
Inspired by accounts like Pubity, I introduced a modern, high-contrast visual system, simplified color palettes, and refined typography for stronger headline hierarchy. Each post is now designed to feel urgent, authoritative, and shareable—while still reflecting CBR’s unique voice in comics, entertainment journalism.
This shift not only improved content clarity and scroll-stopping impact, but also helped strengthen our brand positioning in a competitive media landscape, increasing engagement and follower growth within the first few months of rollout.
